CHANGING TIMES

Things have changed dramatically in all aspects of life over the lifetime of the older generation mainly due to technology. Colour TV, Mobile phones, Computers and the internet etc.etc. Things have also changed in many ways as regards sex and this is most apparent as regards porn, sex toys, homosexuality, attitudes to sex and prostitution.

PORN – 

Porn, in one form or another, has been around since photographs became common. Black and white photos of naked women could be obtained. Changing times means that better photos then became available in newspapers and then in magazines. These were often topless photos until full body photos became available. Finally it was the age of the computer and hell eventually let loose. Legs spread photos became common and then photos depicting sexual intercourse. Things have certainly moved on over the years when it comes to porn not only with the availability of it but also the content.

SEXTOYS –

Sextoys have been around forever and archeological digs have found dildos carved from bone and made from camel dung. They are not essential as many women have masturbated using their fingers, bananas and carrots etc. Changing times means that the availability of sextoys is preferable and the quality has just got better and better over time with vibrators replacing dildos as the sex toy of choice. At the present time sex toys have developed so that those from reputable sources are body safe without any harmful constituents. They are also easy to acquire on the internet from such sources as Lady Layla and Nobs and Nockers.

HOMOSEXUALITY – 

Such a change, a real changing times moment. It does not seem that long ago when it was not acceptable and anyone convicted of it went to prison. Obvious homosexuals who were not convicted were regularly beaten up by others. Today it is accepted. However, society should also allow those with strong religious beliefs to hold those beliefs and live by them. This tolerance is, in general, a good thing as we should not punish people for being different. However,  allowing people to develop naturally is important. Care should be taken not to influence kids when they are taught about alternative sexual orientations. Whilst this encourages tolerance it should not guide impressionable young minds.

ATTITUDES TO SEX – 

There are some attitudes to sex that have changed. Obviously society has become more tolerant over the years and all kinds of sexual orientation are accepted or at least tolerated. Society is much more protective of children when it comes to exploitation by adults. At the same time a blind eye is taken when it comes to underage sex. The law in the UK says that the age of consent is 16. Yet girls under that age are being put on the pill regularly.

Society and its thoughts

Society is rather confused on this point. It is also confused when it comes to photos. A girl can enjoy sexual intercourse at 16 and yet can’t show her boobs in photos until she is 18. Attitudes in this respect are total nonsense. Surely the age for both should be the same no matter what that age is. It is now accepted that young teenage boys will regularly relieve themselves by enjoying masturbation whereas not that far in the past they were told that it would make them go blind. There are still some taboos such as beastiality and perhaps that is as it should be. Attitudes in general have evolved but society is still in a confused state with regard to many.

PROSTITUTION –

In Victorian times prostitution was the number one earner for women. Post war times were hard and lots of housewives turned to prostitution to supplement the family income. They were not regarded as prostitutes but merely wives and mothers doing what was necessary for the family. In the present day prostitutes are regarded as possibly the lowest of the low. They hang about in the cold and are at great risk from their clients. Is it really a problem with charging for sex if that money puts food on the table?

Safety aspect

In a way prostitutes offer a service to men who basically do not have this kind of sexual outlet. Perhaps it would be better to get these women off the streets and into licensed brothels. Here they would be safe and could have medical checks on a regular basis. This would protect both them and their clients from sexually transmitted diseases. It is strange that prostitution is so frowned upon in an age where lots of women enjoy one night stands and being fucked by countless numbers of men.
